2020 Hobbs of Barossa Gregor Shiraz

2020 has delivered a more savoury expression of Gregor Shiraz, it is still unabashedly concentrated and speaks of Barossa at its core. The nose has intensity of plum that is lifted by floral vanillin spice and milk chocolate. The palate is full bodied and you can't help but get caught up in the quality of oak with the mocha and vanillin tone it gives to plum and blackberry. As always there is enough acidity and tannin to match the fruit, as well as underpin drinking for a number of years.
