A cracking 2020 release, there is density and concentration with a lovely lift and generosity from beautifully integrated oak.
In terms of colour the wine is a youthful medium red, with a nose that is steeped in plum and blackberry and the customary dark chocolate overlay that often appears in quality McLaren Vale.
The palate continues the thread from the nose with deep black fruits enjoying a weave of spice and some faint liquorice and cured meat nuances. The finish has a touch of warmth but it is balance with the fruit and oak.
