2020 Maxwell Minotaur Reserve Shiraz

A deep red in colour, aromatics of floral plum and black cherry with a wonderful interjection of milk chocolate and vanilla tones. There is a velvety texture to the palate with tannins that are full, but supple and laced with milk chocolate, fruit is ripe and textured with well balanced acidity and a drying oak influence giving dimension and contrast. There is a touch of black olive to long, brooding plum fruit to finish. A very good wine from a year that wasn't the easiest.
