A deep red in the glass with a concentrated nose of ripe plum and blackberry compote; oak gives a Christmas cake like spice. The wine is plush and mouth filling, continuing in the same vein as the nose with ripe red and black fruits amply supported by more caramel oak. Touch of bitterness that is not at odds to the fruit to finish and gives drying length.
