2015 Midhill Vineyard Blanc de Blancs

A wine from a stellar vintage that continues to develop in the bottle, a light yellow to gold in colour with balanced aromatics of citrus, quince and some faint flint / nougat notes. There is an alluring structure to this wine, it is made to cellar which is the hallmark of vintage sparkling wines, with tightly bound citrus holding court and richer stone fruits and almond meal notes there but playing a background role at the moment. The finish is long and citrus dominant with richer lees induced characters providing subtle generosity.
