Picked at two levels of ripeness to retain freshness, fermented with wild east and aged in French Oak for 12 months the wine is a youthful but curvaceous expression of new world chardonnay that will continue to grow in stature over the short to medium term.
A light yellow in the glass, the nose is elemental at this point in it's development with creamy stone fruits, fig and mealy oak inputs just starting to come together.
A medium to full bodied Chardonnay with generous palate weight and mouth feel, a buttery and creamy edge to the stone fruits is nicely contrasted by green apple flavours and citrusy acidity. To finish there some subtle almond meal notes.
