2018 Mount Monument Chardonnay

A wine that has piercing purity with white peach given a lift by brioche and faint wood spice on the nose. The palate has elegance and tension with stone fruits working with a citrus and mineral backdrop. The mid palate has a fullness of fruit and shows rich almond and fig from the impact of time on lees but balance is maintained by wonderfully integrated acidity. White peach laced with delicate spice and nuanced nutty characters linger on the finish. Stunning.
