Pinot Gris is not a variety that you see a huge amount of in Margaret River with Semillon / Sauvignon Blanc the typical aromatic white variety. Credaro have produced a good value and varietal representation with density of pear fruit meeting lighter citrus tones making it good bet for the warmer months.
The nose gives a honeyed rendition of pear with a touch of cumquat and citrus. The mouthfeel is full and more green pear than anything with a slow build of citrus zest and flashes of grapefruit. There is a fleshiness of fruit to finish and driving acidity that will keep it lively over the shorter term.
