A lightly golden yellow in colour, a wonderfully aromatic nose of candied lime and toffee apple with background pineapple notes. The palate is vibrant and youthful, bright acidity with a citrus edge is a great counterweight to more savoury petrol / kerosene characters.
The finish has lemon and orange peel, with a textural grip that serves to accentuate the wines length. I must say i haven't tasted many Grand Cru Rieslings, but this is pretty impressive.
