2014 Leeuwin Estate Art Series Sauvignon Blanc

This wine gets the best of both worlds, punchy and varietally pure Sauvignon Blanc mixed with enough winemaker intervention to provide texture and depth through time in wood and on lees.

The nose is citrus driven with background tropical notes and herbaceous edge. The palate has an underlying savoury aspect that gives mouthfeel and springboards lime and citrus with flashes of understated passionfruit and winemaker derived almond meal richness. There is a rolling finish of savoury tropical fruits.
