2019 Sidewood Estate Sauvignon Blanc

We have a new candidate for value wine of the year, Sidewood Estate have delivered a Sauvignon Blanc that has piercing aromatics and incredible depth of tropical fruits.

Almost clear in the glass as you would expect, the nose gives top notes of lychee and passionfruit with citrus if you look hard. The palate has coursing acidity that is electric, tropical fruits fill the mouth but are pulled back by a citrus thread that gives both texture and impressive length. A benchmark example of Australian Sauvignon Blanc.
