2017 Gundog Estate Hunter's Semillon

Gundog Estate produce a number of Semillon's, many of which have some adventurous winemaking technique that's used to great effect. This wine is described as modern' which is a nod to the crisp, citrus dominant characters that Hunter Semillon is known for in it's youth. The wine has piercing lemon and lime with textural acidity that combines with a grapefruit like grip before lingering citrus fruits drive great length.

Enjoyable in it's youth and after a few years in bottle.
