This year the wine is a straight Semillon after being a blend of Semillon and Canberra District Riesling in 2022.
The wine has a light yellow in the glass, with a nose of lemon zest, a touch of lanolin and oyster shell. There is a plushness to the wine with Meyer lemon like richness before more precise lime and lemon fruit frame the finish that has a mineral and slate like edge to it. A delicious wine that will drink well over the shorter term.
