At around $20 a bottle it is very hard to go wrong with this wine, it has concentration, elegance and a moreish to it that you don't often find for the price point.
A nose of sweet black cherry and plum with dark chocolate and liquorice. The palate is expansive with plum that is laced with cocoa and unsweetened liquorice, the latter elements giving the wine restraint and balance. To finish there are waves of plummy fruit and a dusting of spice. Great value.
