Review Detail
2016 Nannup Estate Rolling Hills Malbec
Wine Rating
91
A pretty dark purple hue in the glass, the nose has a richness of plum fruit thats dusted with sweetened liquorice and white pepper. There is a lot to like about the texture of this wine, it’s soft and supple up front but builds in terms of texture with a finish that is driven by drying, dark fruit and chocolate laden tannin. The impressive tannin profile is supported by juicy black fruits, with liquorice strap giving another layer of depth.
