Review Detail
2014 Yeringberg Marsanne Roussanne
Wine Rating
94
Yeringberg are an icon of the Yarra Valley, their approach to winemaking is uncompromising and they make the investment to cellar wines for a number of years prior to release.
The 2014 Marsanne Roussanne is an excellent follow up to the impressive 2013, the nose enjoys the trappings of quality new oak with a luxurious vanillin note that fades to the background amongst waxy stone fruits, lanolin and a touch of hay. The palate carries an understated lemon and honeysuckle note that has more depth of stone fruits, a gentle line of spice gives complexity to finish.
Will cellar well.
