Deep red in colour, the nose has interest, complexity and depth and shows a wonderful expression of varietal fruit that is enhanced by considerate use of oak and winemaker derived savoury characters; with smokey olive, blackberry fruit and a touch of oak.

The palate is a seamless extension of the aromas on the nose with an underlying smoked cedar and blackberry flavour that ties the wine together and gives it such a unique character.

The tannins are fine but firm; and the perfect drying complement to blackberry, cedar and stewed dark cherry that linger on the finish.

A great value wine.
