Review Detail
2010 Brown Brothers Heathcote Merlot
Wine Rating
85
A lovely, yet somewhat developed red in colour, given the wine is only a few years old.
The nose lacks varietal richness, with stalky plum and a touch of alcohol evident, the wine unfolds in a similar way to the palate with linear, drying dark berry fruits interrupted by sour edged acidity, the wine finishes with drying tannins and redcurrant fruit.
