Review Detail
2010 Elderton Estate Merlot
Wine Rating
89
A medium red in colour, the nose shows sweet fruited plum and raspberry with lifted spice and oak playing their part.
The palate has depth of bright red fruits with a more savoury twist on the mid to back palate, where dusty, earthy tannins give a subtle contrast to the bright fruit of the palate.
This wine is drinking well now, and will continue to over the short to medium term.
