Dark red in the glass the wine has rich plum and prune characters on the nose, the wine has excellent mouth feel with subtle spice balancing the briary fruit on the palate. The length was a great surprise, with a 'peacock's tail' of flavour that was more akin to a high class Pinot. A great example of Australian Merlot.
