An impenetrable dark red in the glass, the nose shows floral but deeply concentrated plum and black cherry; oak gives a layer of spice.

The fruit at the core of this wine is undeniably good, it has texture and nuance without being extracted or over the top. There is a faint liquorice thread to the wine which when combined with bitter dark chocolate gives complexity to the mid palate. The finish is long with drying black fruits lingering.
