Dark red in the glass, the nose has rich raspberry, mocha and vanillian oak, the palate is soft and round, with fine tannins, dark fruits, cinnamon and spice. The finish shows acceptable persistence, but doesn't have the length or tannin structure that would suggest a long term cellaring wine.
