2009 Gibson The Darling Merlot
Wine Rating
88
A good red hue that is starting to brown towards the rim, the nose is rustic and earthy with savoury dark berry fruits.
The palate is well rounded with stewed cherry and light plum. There is integrated oak and spice characters on the back palate, with fine tannins and acceptable length.
