Review Detail
2006 Silent Range Merlot
Wine Rating
90
Medium to full red in colour, the nose is surprisingly youthful considering it has been in bottle for a couple of years, in particular there is vibrant raspberry and cinnamon spice.
The palate is medium bodied and shows a great contrast to the nose with an earthy, savoury backbone that supports understated blackberry and fine tannins.
The length is very good.
