Review Detail
2008 Parusso Armando Barolo DOCG
Wine Rating
94
A medium red hue that still shows a youthful red towards the rim of the glass, the nose evolves with time in the glass, opening with camphor before showing floral rose petal aromas that are backed by red cherry and milk chocolate.
Vibrant fruit on entry, drying tannic grip with dried fruit complexity on the mid to back palate with a rich milk chocolate character helping to resolve the tannins too. Lingering tar and rose petals to finish.
An excellent wine.
