This is the best Star Lane Nebbiolo release of recent years, it is made in the typical style of the Estate with wild yeast and minimal intervention. The nose has all you would look for in Nebbiolo with morello cherry, plum, violets, tar and spice. The palate is generous with cherry fruit and spiced prune, tannins are taut and savoury with intermittent impact of rose petal before puckering tannin and acidity gives great length and underwrites a long future.
