Review Detail
2019 Indomitus Rosa
Wine Rating
94
A rose made with purpose and worthy of the price tag and its place within the flagship wines produced by Gundog Estate.
The wine is produced from Nebbiolo sourced from the Hilltops region and gives a pale salmon in colour with a nose of cherry and strawberry with a touch of lemon and lifted creaminess.
A layered wine with a fullness of mouthfeel and contrast between its lithe citrus core and summer berry fruits; there is a subtle richness that presumably comes from time on lees that also gives texture. The finish focuses on crunchy red cherry with excellent length.
