2010 Ruggabellus Fluus

RUGGABELLUS – ‘rugged beauty’ - pertaining to the ancient & enchanting nature of our land, a great name and simple label with the FLUUS being the entry into the range, and certainly punches well above it’s weight.

The wine is a blend of mataro, grenache, shiraz and cinsault, with the blend providing a heady yet complex mix of dark and red fruits on the nose that benefit from an earthy, leathery complexity. The palate is layered and balanced with fine tannins, and some stemmy characters to go along to the lingering plum to finish. Great length and balance.
