A blend of 96% Sagrantino and 4% Cinsault, the wine opens up with an earthen nose that enjoys liquorice strap with some herbaceous notes alongside bright black berry fruits; The palate has understated leather and undergrowth with bracken and briar laden tannins that soak up dark cherry and plum fruit. Acidity gives freshness and persistence and will underwrite a long future. A serious release at an affordable price.
