The boys and girls at Punt Road are doing some exciting things, they have re-invigorated the Airlie Bank range and starting to look for opportunities to express single block wine - the soon to be released 14 Punt Road Cabernet Sauvignon one such example.
There is a savoury funk and sweetness to the black currant and tobacco laden nose, the palate has great structure with 100% whole bunch giving suppleness, mouth feel and earthy spice.
The wine finishes with herbaceous red fruits, mouth coating tannins and a touch of earth.
