A youthful red hue in the glass, a generously dark fruited nose with blackcurrant and plum that also exposes a subtle brambly side. The wine has a savoury core that is propped up by juicy acidity that plays well with blood plum and bay leaf. The finish is drying and packed with plum fruit, drinking well now and will reward medium term cellaring.
