One of the few producers of the variety in Australia, which shows characteristic notes of leather and earth with brooding black fruits and tautness of tannin. The wine comes in at 15% but carries itself well. The palate sits on the savory side of the fruit spectrum with a subtle dusting of spice that adds richness before a web of drying tannin takes hold. Lingering blackberry and earth to finish.
