A blend of Shiraz and Sangiovese that work so well together. The Shiraz from Star Lane is always a brooding wine that is enjoyable whilst young, but promises so much with time. The addition of the more fruit forward and generous Sangiovese creates a wine that is both approachable now, but set up for an enjoyable evolution in the cellar.

The nose has earthen plum from the Shiraz that’s lifted by red cherry and a little spice. The palate has a firm baseline of tannin that is fine and savoury, acidity is similarly compact but provides the base from which lightly spiced dark fruits make their mark. There is an enjoyable moreishness to finish with a great mouthfeel.
