2016 Witchmount Estate Cabernet Franc

This wine was whole bunch fermented using wild yeast prior to ageing in French oak and bottled young to retain youthful, aromatically intense exuberance. A medium red hue in the glass, the nose jumps out of the glass with smokey black fruits that have a stalky edge.

It will be easy to watch this wine evaporate from glasses over the warmer months with the combination unbridled rich black currant fruit against drying, sweetly spiced tannin and juicy acidity making this a moorish wine.
