An attractive, youthful red in the glass. The nose is laced with strawberry, blackberry and plum fruits with a suggestion of spice. The juicy, primary fruited goodness of the nose meets a more savoury, white pepper like tannin structure that gives contrast. The finish is long and drying with fruit shining through with some unsweetened liquorice for good measure.
Drinking well now, but has the structure to enjoy time in the cellar.
