The nose gives dark cherry, cranberry and fuller plum fruit with undergrowth and flicker of spice. The palate unfurls in layers with a tannin and acid profile that gives fruit, savoury nuance and oak the chance to shine on their own merits while being stitched together to create one of the most compelling examples of the variety i have seen in Australia. The length to finish is impressive with dark berry fruits given a dried herb twist. Excellent value.
