The grapes were sourced from the Riverbank Vineyard and is the first release of Barbera un the Little Gem label and it is a good one !
Plum, mushroom, bracken, earth and cured meat give complex and enticing aromatics. On the palate acidity is tart, working beautifully with an earthen expression of dark cherry. and a touch of spice. The finish is generous but savoury in the same breath.
