Mataro is more well known for its savoury and sullen structure, but here it has been blended masterfully with Grenache and Shiraz with the wines savoury core lifted by raspberry and cherry fruit. There is a milk chocolate like richness on the mid palate with fuller plum fruits, spice is generous before a long, earthen finish with drying black fruits the star.
