The bottle and label are are quite impressive, the wine is a light to medium red in colour with a nose rhubarb and sappy red cherry alongside fresh earth. The palate has crunch of red berry fruits with supple tannins contrasted by taut acidity. There is some fruit derived spice and grippy earthen texture to support dark cherry and a liquorice like twist to finish. The style will certainly polarise.
