The team at Purple Hands do wonderful things with Mourvèdre. The 2019 release is a vibrant red in the glass with strawberry and blue fruits that are quite stunning in their purity and floral lift.There is a suppleness of texture initially that is carried by plush plum, with the wines earthen impact growing across the palate with fine but savoury tannins true to the variety. There are some understated mocha tones to drying plum fruit to finish alongside a dusting of earth.
