A light red in the glass, almost Pinot like in terms of colour. The nose has red cherry and blackberry fruit that is lifted by a floral spice. There is an enjoyable fruit sweetness to the wine initially with dark cherry taking on a more sour and savoury edge across the palate. There is an enjoyable crunch and earthen influence to dustier red berry fruits to finish. A very enjoyable wine and a point of difference for the Pyrenees.
