2010 Anjou Demon Les Terres Blanches
Wine Rating
90
A lovely deep purple to ruby red in colour, the nose has hauntingly complex fruit with earthy blackberry, green peppercorns and violets.
The palate has stewed dark berry fruits with taught acidity and fine tannins that add a savoriness, but are not overbearing.
The finish walks a tightrope between a dusty drying characters and ripe rounded blackberry fruit, this wine will be best over the short to medium term.
