2013 Tscharke Matching Socks Touriga Nacional
Wine Rating

91
Touriga is a variety more commonly used in Barossa red blends, however this release from Tscharke is a pretty compelling reason why this variety is worth another look.

The wine has been produced using only old oak, allowing for a vibrant expression of lightly spiced raspberry on the nose. The wine is light to medium bodied with bright red berry fruits supported by liquorice and spice. The finish gives soft and integrated tannins.
