Review Detail
2012 Tscharke The Master Montepulciano
Wine Rating
91
A nose of red berries, earth and leather, the wine opens with bright red fruits of strawberry and cherry that are soon whipped back into line by bracing and drying tannins that give great mouthfeel. The finish is certainly drying but does afford some lightly spiced red cherry that allows the wine to maintain generosity.
An interesting wine that is well worth a try at the price point.
