The 2012 GSM is an attractive and elegant expression of a classic Barossa blend. The nose has floral dark cherry and stalky undertones. The palate is well proportioned and structured, with a spicy vibrancy and balanced acidity that works well against bright red fruits.

At $22, this is impressive value and enjoyable over the shorter term.
