Other Red April 19, 2016
2008 Vallado Touriga Nacional
Wine Rating

91
Impenetrable dark red in the glass, the nose has dusty raisin and plum with a spicy richness that is drawn from 18 months in French oak. The palate is incredibly drying with lattices of dark fruits stacked on top of each other. The oak is a necessary addition to this wine to give contrast, the finish is long and savoury with ample blackberry and plum.
