Teroldego is a variety that is grown primarily in the northeastern region of Trentino-Alto in Italy. Geoff Hardy is one of only a few Australian producers who grow the variety.
A youthful dark red with purple hues towards the rim, the nose is bursting with red cherry and blackberry fruit against tar and roses. An elegant, medium bodied wine with a tingling backbone of acidity and fine tannin that highlights the savoury side of drying dark berries.
The finish is moreish and melds earth and primary fruits, leaving a distinct a puckering in the mouth that is the perfect accompaniment to red meat .
