Review Detail
2016 d’Arenberg The Bonsai Grenache Shiraz
Wine Rating
91
A vibrant but dark red in the glass with a nose of blackberry, earth, charcoal and plum.
The wine is just a baby with taut dark berry fruits against a drying baseline of tannin, there is a cocoa like character to the mid palate with graphite and leather melding with plum and cherry to finish.
Will go for decades.
