The team are on fire down at Punt Road with this Gamay release striking the balance between a youthful drink now style and something that is a little more substantial and sophisticated.
A vibrant youthful red in the glass before the nose opens with smokey stem and red cherry with a touch of citrus like zest.
Medium bodied with a juicy core of red cherry and new season plum; tannins have a pomegranate crunch but it works well. There are some savoury notes to tart cherry fruit and lingering spice to finish.
