A sullen and savoury nose that is about the site and winemaking technique; stemmy red cherry and earth get a semblance of spice but everything is in balance.

This is a complete wine that is led by it’s lovely texture interplay between what are subtle, delicate flavours and a baseline of tannin and acidity that gives them definition and presence.

Dark cherry is at the wines core and is accentuated by fresh earth and bitter dark chocolate. The finish is drying but substantial. A wine to think about as you enjoy it now, but will unravel beautifully with age.
